Job Description

Our Aquatic Customer Service team are often the first point of contact and the last too. They don't just answer calls; they greet our visitors, handle retail sales and deal with other queries wherever they are able to and have a wide knowledge of Splash Palace and how we operate. We currently have a permanent part-time role available in our Liquid Cafe, working 20.5 hours per week over the following roster: Saturday 9:00am - 5:30pm (8 hours) Sunday 9:00am - 5:30pm (8 hours) Monday 4:00pm - 9:00pm (4.5 hours) Extra shifts are often available, and our ideal candidates could be available to pick these up. You will be willing to work evenings, weekends, and occasional public holidays. Key responsibilities for this role include: Food preparation, baking, cooking and catering services, while maintaining a high standard of food quality, hygiene and customer satisfaction. Provide barista duties preparing and serving different hot and cold beverages. Ensure retail stock levels are well displayed and maintained at an appropriate level, and any stock ordering is accurately recorded. Ensure all telephone and general enquiries are answered in a friendly, efficient and professional manner re-directing to the appropriate person where necessary. Ensure the cleaning roster is completed and signed off daily. Process cash, concession and membership card entries and general sales transactions ensuring cash balances. What you will bring: NCEA Level 2 or equivalent First Aid Certificate or be willing to gain Have the ability to multitask and work under pressure Know your way around a coffee machine!
