Classroom Teachers - 2 Positions, Commencing 2027 Full time, Permanent Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Māori, The arts Matipo School is seeking two enthusiastic, collaborative and relationship-focused kaiako to join our team in 2027. We have several teaching opportunities available across the school. Year-level placements have not yet been confirmed, so applicants are asked to clearly state their preferred year level, relevant experience, curriculum strengths and any particular areas of interest in their cover letter. We are looking for teachers who: Build strong, positive relationships with tamariki, whānau and colleagues Provide engaging, inclusive and responsive learning programmes Demonstrate effective classroom practice and sound curriculum knowledge Value collaboration, professional growth and contributing to the wider life of the school Are committed to culturally responsive practice and supporting the identity, language and culture of all learners Strengths in structured literacy, mathematics, te reo Māori, digital technologies, the arts, sport or supporting diverse learners would be welcomed.
