New Entrant Classroom Teacher

Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Māori, The arts Owairoa Primary School, a top-performing school as described by the Education Review Office, is seeking an outstanding classroom teacher to facilitate exciting student learning opportunities within our school. Due to roll growth, we are looking for a motivated new entrant / Year 0 teacher, with an interest in our youngest learners, to start a class and be passionate about teaching the fundamentals and engaging our learners and their families in their first step on their school journey. The position will commence in Term 4 (Monday 12th October) or date to be negotiated. We welcome applications from NZ registered teachers already living in NZ who have a sound knowledge of theNew Zealand Curriculum, have strong classroom management skills, can work collaboratively, have a good work ethic, are energetic and highly motivated, are able to develop excellent learner focused relationships and be excited to be part of the Owairoa 'family'.
