About the internship:

Our unique internship opportunity offers students the opportunity to be immersed in product development within the medical device industry. The internship runs fromNovember 2026 through to February 2027and you'll be working alongside a great team of people on a wide range of projects and challenges.

If you're a 3rd or 4th year student currently studying or specialising in the following areas we want to hear from you:

  • Industrial Design
  • Design Engineering
  • Process Development Engineering

We want to hear from students who want to make a real difference in the medical industry, so please include the following in your application:

  • An up-to-date CVthat outlines your relevant skills and experiences, including any technical skills and systems/programs you have used. Be sure to include your personal and university projects, and what drives you!
  • A cover letteroutlining your career ambitions and how an internship with AROA will help you achieve them.
  • An academic transcriptto show that you're studying, or have recently completed, an undergraduate or postgraduate degree or qualification at NZQA Level 7-10.

What happens next?If your application is shortlisted, our Talent Acquisition team will be in touch to arrange an initial conversation. You may then meet with the relevant team for an interview, where we'll learn more about your skills, interests and what you're looking to gain from an internship with AROA. If you're the successful candidate, we'll complete academic or professional reference checks before confirming the offer and next steps.
