We're looking for a Senior Manager, Portfolio Management Strategy to lead the design, optimisation, and performance of our collections and recoveries strategies. This is a highly visible role that works closely with the Chief Risk Officer, Head of Customer Care & Resolutions, Executive Leadership Team, and Board to deliver portfolio insights, influence decision‑making, and drive strategic outcomes.

We're looking for a Senior Manager, Portfolio Management Strategy to lead the design, optimisation, and performance of our collections and recoveries strategies. This is a highly visible role that works closely with the Chief Risk Officer, Head of Customer Care & Resolutions, Executive Leadership Team, and Board to deliver portfolio insights, influence decision‑making, and drive strategic outcomes.

You’ll use data, analytics, and commercial insight to shape portfolio management strategies across the customer lifecycle, including:

  • Designing and optimising collections and recoveries strategies across all stages of delinquency.
  • \n
  • Developing treatment strategies for early arrears, hardship, late‑stage collections, and recoveries.
  • \n
  • Using portfolio analytics, cohort analysis, roll rates, and behavioural insights to identify emerging risks and opportunities.
  • \n
  • Leading strategy testing, experimentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • \n
  • Developing forecasting models for arrears, recoveries, and operational capacity planning.
  • \n
  • Producing portfolio performance reporting and strategic insights for Executive and Board audiences.
  • \n
  • Working cross‑functionally to balance risk outcomes, customer experience, and commercial performance.
  • \n

What we’re looking for

You will bring:

  • 7+ years' experience in collections, portfolio management, credit risk, or a related financial services environment.
  • \n
  • Strong analytical capability with experience using data to develop and optimise credit or collections strategies.
  • \n
  • A strategic mindset combined with a hands‑on approach to execution.
  • \n
  • The ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate complex data into pragmatic business decisions.
  • \n
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to present insights to executives and governance forums.
  • \n
  • Experience leading initiatives across multiple business functions.
  • \n
