Exciting Opportunity: Retail Despatcher/Planner at Linfox

Are you an organised and proactive individual with a knack for logistics and planning? Linfox Logistics NZ is seeking a ANDC Despatcher/Planner to join our retail team to help ensure we have a smooth, efficient, and compliant transport operations.

Position Highlights:

• Oversee despatch and vehicle control functions for top-tier logistics.
• Deliver high-quality, error-free service to internal and external customers.
• Supervise and lead drivers, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
• Foster strong relationships between Linfox and customer teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage despatch planning and vehicle allocation according to customer and Linfox requirements.
• Conduct safety audits and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
• Train and coach staff to maintain high performance and adhere to safety practices.
• Monitor and optimize fleet, run, and driver utilization to meet service standards.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven ability to handle planning, despatch, and vehicle management tasks.
• Knowledge of Transport systems - Blue Yonder, Truck Mate, Excel, Eroad, etc.
• Previous experience working in the Transport Industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to safety, legal compliance, and continuous improvement.
