You'll play a key role in coordinating production schedules, ensuring materials and resources are available, and keeping operations running efficiently. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on organisation, problem-solving, and keeping a fast-paced production environment on track. Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.

What You'll Do

  • Plan and schedule production activities to meet delivery deadlines.
  • Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and production teams to ensure material availability.
  • Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to optimise efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate production records and reports.
  • Identify potential bottlenecks and recommend solutions to improve workflow.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in production planning or scheduling in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of production processes, workflow management, and resource allocation.
  • Experience in the steel, metal fabrication, or manufacturing industry (preferred)
  • Proficient in scheduling software (e.g., ERP systems, Excel, or similar).
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively across teams.
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies (desirable)
  • A valid work visa or the right to work in New Zealand
  • Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test
