Senior Relationship Manager - Cervical Screening Programme - NPHS Lead key relationships that support the delivery of the National Cervical Screening Programme. About the Role The Senior Relationship Manager plays a key national leadership role supporting the National Cervical Screening Programme. Working closely with providers, clinical stakeholders, and health sector partners, you will lead strategic relationships, provide expert advice, and oversee initiatives that ensure programme delivery meets business needs while improving health outcomes for communities across Aotearoa. You will identify opportunities for service improvement, manage risks and issues, and help shape future programme direction through collaboration, analysis, and stakeholder engagement. This role requires the ability to influence and work across a complex health environment, building strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to support programme success. You will champion equity, uphold Te Tiriti o Waitangi commitments, and contribute to initiatives that improve access, outcomes, and quality of care. Success in this position requires strategic thinking, excellent relationship management skills, sound judgement, and the ability to lead change in a dynamic national setting. About you To be successful in this role, you will be a strategic relationship manager with strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to influence outcomes across a complex health environment. You will bring sound judgement, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to improving equitable health outcomes for all communities. You will have: A tertiary qualification in a health-related or relevant field, or equivalent experience. Proven experience managing and influencing stakeholders across diverse health sector settings. Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with the ability to provide high-quality advice and lead complex initiatives. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and communicate effectively with a range of audiences. Experience working with Māori and Pacific communities and a demonstrated commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and health equity. The ability to work collaboratively, adapt to change, and deliver results in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
