We have a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced freight forwarding Business Development Manager for our growing Auckland branch. In this position you will actively build your sales pipeline, exploring and securing new and profitable business across all trade lanes in air and sea freight. Key Accountabilities: Drive and manage sales opportunities for Air & Sea freight, Warehousing & Transport and Coastal business Develop strategies and activities to support both new & existing customer relationships Research and identify sales pipelines and support campaigns across vertical markets, products, and trade lanes Develop and maintain a fit for purpose pipeline of prospects that matches the company's strategies Skills and Experience: Marked experience in a sales role in freight forwarding industry A strong track record in successfully identifying new business opportunities and developing customer relationships Excellent communication and presentation skills as well as time management Outgoing personality with a solution-oriented mind set Our Values: We live and breathe our values at Gebrüder Weiss.
