General Labourer We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join a busy crew in Christchurch. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys physical work, works well as part of a team, and is happy to get stuck into a variety of tasks on site. Location: Christchurch Start date: Immediate Pay rate: $25–$26 per hour – paid weekly What you’ll be doing Assisting trades and site crews with a range of general labouring duties Moving, loading, and unloading materials and equipment around site Completing general site clean‑up and keeping work areas safe and tidy Helping with basic site preparation and other hands‑on tasks as required Following instructions from supervisors and working efficiently with the wider crew Following all site health and safety procedures throughout the day To be successful A good level of physical fitness and confidence completing hands‑on work A reliable attitude and strong work ethic A full NZ driver’s licence and your own reliable vehicle Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug and alcohol test Two recent working references Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team Good communication skills and a positive approach to the job A strong awareness of workplace health and safety Flexibility to help with a variety of tasks as required What’s on offer Competitive pay rate of $25–$26 per hour Weekly pay Potential for ongoing work Variety of work across different Christchurch sites PPE provided for the job Support from the Tradestaff Christchurch team Why work with Tradestaff?
