In this role, you will work independently on-site while delivering safe, effective, evidence-based nursing care focused on exceptional patient outcomes. As part of our progressive team you will be part of our service offering, supporting local chemotherapy delivery in Tasman and Marlborough and reducing the need for patients to travel long distances for treatment. This is a permanent 0.6 FTE position, reporting to and collaborating closely with the St George’s Cancer Care Centre team in Christchurch. Some travel to St George’s Cancer Care Centre will be required for orientation and ongoing training. Desired Skills and Experience Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Essential skills/experience for the role: Your commitment to excellent patient care and clinical expertise will make you stand out, but you will also: Deliver patient-centred care based on comprehensive assessment. Have a minimum of 1 year oncology and / or haematology experience Ideally be competent in chemotherapy administration Manage resources efficiently and effectively to meet patient healthcare needs. Be an excellent communicator with the ability to critique and utilise evidence to foster enquiry.
