About the Role Thisis a fantastic opportunity for someone wanting to work in Women's Health and tohelp provide a service supporting women. Weare looking for a Healthcare Assistant to assist the nursing team with patientcare whilst maintaining a safe and clean work environment. Therole of a Healthcare Assistant varies from day to day, but you will be there toassist the nursing team with a variety of tasks on the ward which couldinclude: Assisting with basic patient care (e.g. hygiene andmobility assistance) Keeping the environment tidy and organised Ordering and restocking of supplies Ensuring that patients have the best experiencepossible About the Service Weare a 27-bed Gynaecology Ward for Gynae surgical/medical patients includesantenatal and post-natal mothers and babies. We also have 5 beds inGynaecology Assessment Unit (GAU). We have a high turnover of patients and workwithin a fast-paced environment. About You OurHealthcare Assistants are an integral part of our team and we are looking forcandidates who have excellent communication skills, a high level ofconfidentiality, a positive attitude and the ability to use theirinitiative. You will enjoy working as part of the gynaecology team, beingbusy and don't mind that the role can be at times physically demanding. Skillsand Experience: Healthcare Assistant experience or similar isdesirable.
