About the Role: This is a part-time permanent position working 68 hours per fortnight with a mix of day and evening shifts. We are looking for a person-centred individual that enjoys being active and supporting others in their community doing the activities they enjoy. Week 1: Monday 11pm-7am the following day, Wednesday 5:30pm-10pm, Thursday 3:30pm-10pm, Friday and Saturday 11pm-7am the following day Week 2: Monday 5:30pm-10pm, Tuesday 3:30pm-10pm, Thursday 11pm-7am the following day, Saturday and Sunday 3:30pm-10pm Skills and Experience: A Passion for People: Be patient, friendly, and kind, with the ability to understand, communicate, and genuinely connect with people Experience: Previous experience working with challenging behaviours, particularly in the Disability space is essential Empathy & Understanding: Person-centred focus. Team Player: Professional, honest, and a reliable team-player with a flexible mindset. Practical Skills: The ability to carry out personal cares, including showering and dressing. Driver Licence: A Full NZ Driver Licence is essential, as driving a MASH van will be part of your role.
