Job Description

Be the person who helps keep our campus organised, welcoming, and running smoothly. Skills Group is looking for an organised and proactive Site Coordinator to join our team at our Thorndon Quay campus in Wellington. This is a varied, customer-facing administration role where you'll support the day-to-day running of the campus, assist learners and tutors, coordinate course administration, and make sure the practical details behind successful training delivery are taken care of. Working 20 hours per week, Monday-Friday from 7:30am-11:30am , this could be a great fit for an experienced administrator looking for consistent part-time hours while still enjoying plenty of variety and interaction with people. What You'll Be Doing Provide day-to-day campus administration and respond to phone, email, and in-person enquiries. Coordinate class schedules, registers, attendance records, learner documentation, and course administration. Support exam and assessment administration, including distributing materials and maintaining accurate records. Assist learners with course enquiries and enrolments, including providing clear guidance through the process. Coordinate campus facilities, supplies, equipment, couriers, purchase orders, and other operational requirements. Work closely with learning teams, Learner Services, internal stakeholders, and external suppliers to resolve issues and keep campus operations running smoothly. What You'll Bring Previous administrative experience in office or site administration is essential. Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. A customer-focused approach with strong communication and relationship-building skills across phone, email, and in-person interactions. Strong attention to detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work independently. Strong digital capability and the ability to quickly learn new systems; experience with learner or student management systems is highly advantageous. Confidence using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, with previous customer service experience also highly regarded. Why join Skills Group?
