Based in New Zealand, you will coordinate programmes that build critical capacity and capability, ensuring our efforts are seamlessly aligned with domestic and international partners to lift the cyber security posture across the Pacific. Key responsibilities You will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight to ensure the Pacific Partnerships programme is structured, impactful, and tailored to the unique needs of each partner nation. Your focus will be on: Leading and developing a high-performing team, ensuring staff are empowered to solve complex problems and innovate. Coordinating with New Zealand Government agencies and international partners to ensure a unified and non-conflicting approach to Pacific cyber security. Designing and implementing a work programme informed by the current threatscape and the technical expertise of the NCSC. Managing the unit's annual budget and risk planning processes in accordance with GCSB instructions. Whowe’relooking for We are seeking a seasoned leader with a proven track record in international capacity building and a deep sensitivity to cross-cultural engagement. You should possess: Extensive experience leading technical or international capacity-building teams, with at least three years of management experience. A strong understanding of the ICT policy and information security context within the Pacific region. Exceptional negotiation, influencing, and relationship management skills, with the ability to represent the GCSB with credit internationally.
