About the Role As an IT Trainer, you'll play a vital role in building digital capability across Health New Zealand by developing and delivering engaging IT training that empowers our people to confidently use digital tools and technologies. You'll design, coordinate and facilitate training programmes and learning resources across a range of platforms, supporting the successful adoption of new systems and applications. Working closely with Digital Operations, project teams and key stakeholders, you'll identify learning needs, deliver effective knowledge transfer, and promote digital literacy to ensure our workforce has the skills and confidence to support high-quality healthcare delivery. About the Team/Service/ Location You'll join a collaborative and supportive Digital Services team based in Waikato, dedicated to enabling better health outcomes through innovative technology and exceptional customer support. Working alongside Digital Operations, project teams, healthcare professionals and business stakeholders, you'll help build the digital capability of our workforce by delivering high-quality IT training and learning solutions that support frontline health services. About you You are an enthusiastic IT professional who enjoys helping others learn and succeed. With experience delivering engaging technology training and developing high-quality learning resources, you can translate complex technical information into practical, easy-to-understand content for a wide range of audiences. You are an excellent communicator who builds positive relationships, adapts your training style to meet different learning needs, and thrives in a collaborative environment. Organised, patient and passionate about continuous improvement, you're committed to delivering exceptional learning experiences while applying the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi to support equitable health outcomes across Aotearoa New Zealand. To succeed in this role, you will bring: Proven experience in developing, coordinating and delivering IT training programmes, learning resources and training collateral across a range of digital platforms. At least five years' experience working in information technology, including a minimum of one year's experience delivering IT training, digital learning or user enablement. Demonstrated ability to improve digital literacy and support the successful adoption of new technologies, systems and applications across diverse user groups. Experience designing engaging training materials, user guides, eLearning content and other learning resources that cater to different learning styles. Strong communication, presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple training activities and build effective working relationships across multidisciplinary teams. Relevant tertiary qualification in Education, Human Resources, Information Technology or a related discipline. Qualifications or certifications in adult learning, instructional design or training delivery are highly desirable.
