Description: About The Mahi (role) An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist to join our New Plymouth team in a combined clinical and Team Leader role. This is a 1.0 FTE position, comprising 0.2 FTE Team Leader responsibilities and 0.8 FTE clinical work. You will maintain a clinical caseload while supporting the Clinic Manager with the leadership and development of the New Plymouth team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced clinician looking to take the next step into leadership, or someone with existing leadership experience who enjoys remaining clinically active. You will work across our vocational and community rehabilitation services, supporting clients to return to work, improve their independence and achieve their rehabilitation goals. You will be part of a supportive multidisciplinary team with a varied caseload across ACC and private rehabilitation services. As Team Leader, you will: Support the Clinic Manager with the day-to-day operation and development of the team. Provide leadership, support and development to clinical staff. Promote clinical quality, customer service and continuous improvement. Support compliance with TBI Health policies, procedures and accreditation requirements. Facilitate team meetings and internal clinical education. Support clinic performance, operational efficiency and business development. As part of your clinical caseload, you will: Provide assessment and rehabilitation services across ACC and other relevant contracts. Assess, plan and deliver evidence-based rehabilitation programmes. Monitor client progress and work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team. Provide clinical assessment, education and advice to clients. Refer clients to appropriate internal or external health professionals where required. Contribute to pain management programmes and the development of clinical protocols. Why join TBI Health? A relevant tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy.
