About the Role We areseeking a motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our RadiologyService!TheRadiology Service is based at Christchurch Hospital and Burwood Hospital withour Registered Nurses working across both sites. At the Radiology Service wepride ourselves in keeping up with technology and we have a wealth ofexperience that we want to share.Shifts arerostered across Monday to Friday with some weekend shifts on occasion (rosterto be discussed at interview stage).On callshifts are 1800 - 0800 weekdays and 0800 Saturday until 0800 Monday onceInterventional Radiology (IR) trained. About the Service Our serviceis divided into specialised areas including CT, Ultrasound Biopsies, MRI, andInterventional Radiology at Christchurch Hospital and MRI, CT and Fluoroscopyat Burwood Hospital. About You We can offeryou diversity in your workday and the opportunity to expand your nursing skillsand knowledge within a range of specialties within the radiology service.Preferred Interventional Radiology experience and/or Theatre experience.Professional Development and Recognition Programme (PDRP) at proficient level or abovePrevious acute nursing experienceMotivated, with a mature attitude and organised approach, you will be flexible and adaptable in this ever changing, fast paced environment.You will be an IV cannulatorAbility to work rostered shifts in a multidisciplinary teamAbility to work autonomously and effectively as part of the multidisciplinary teamPassion to learn and expand your knowledge in this area of nursingRegistered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand with a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC)Workingat Health New ZealandHealth NewZealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for thepeople of New Zealand.
