About the role As the Operations Manager at CARTERS East Tamaki, you are responsible for managing and leading all areas of the yard including loading and despatch operations. Supporting the branch manager, you will drive continuous improvement while managing and supporting the team to maximise efficiencies in distribution, sales and service levels. Your role is all about maintaining customer loyalty and ensuring CARTERS is the preferred supplier of building materials for our trade customers. With your experience in process implementation and improvement you will assign work via the yard supervisor and despatch manager ensuring the smooth operation of the timber yard and deliveries, stock maintenance, order pulling, customer service and internal sales support service levels are maintained to a high level.
