Join the NZSIS Intelligence Directorate and help support a key project that will contribute directly to how the organisation manages and deploys our capabilities. About the role: Your role within the team will be highly valued and the work you do will be instrumental in coordinating and managing various aspects of our intelligence capability project; ensuring seamless integration and effective collaboration among team members. You'll be a key member of the team, actively contributing and providing support across all our intelligence capabilities. You will have insight into our operational and technical teams, how they operate, and what they need in order to operate day‑to‑day. There will be variety in your work and you will have the opportunity to get involved in a range of projects that will see you engaging with a range of stakeholders and providing valuable contribution to the improvement of our capabilities. This position is Wellington based. The expected appointing range is $73,684 - $78,596 per annum. Typical day‑to‑day duties may include: Tracking and capturing the status of projects. Risk management and financial monitoring. Producing effective communications, status reports and other project artefacts. Building and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Contributing to a governance group and coordinating meeting minutes. What can we offer you? Who we're looking for? We are looking for someone is confident "sorting through the chaos". A proactive organiser who enjoys streamlining work and communicating openly. Ideally you will already have a few projects under your belt, be confident liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and be able to work independently and self‑manage. We will also be looking for: Proven ability to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines in a changing environment Strong technical skills – proficient with Microsoft Office (including MSProject) and quick to learn new tools Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Strong initiative and problem‑solving skills Basic understanding of the principles of project work/methodologies Join a supportive, unique environment where you can apply your expertise across a variety of stimulating projects.
