About the Role As an Enrolled Nurse in the eye clinic, you’ll assist inundertaking ophthalmic assessment on a wide range of patients, with varyingophthalmic conditions, both acute and chronic. You will help manage acutelyunwell patients that present from the community and the ward. You will performa variety of different scans and technical assessments on patients and assistnurses and doctors with sterile procedures and assessments. About the Service The Eye Clinic is a very busy and demanding service that isstaffed by a dedicated team of Healthcare Assistants, Nurses, Orthoptists,Optometrists and Technicians who work closely with our highly skilled andspecialised Ophthalmologists to meet the eye health needs of the people ofCanterbury. About You Registered as anEnrolled Nurse with the Nursing Council of New Zealand Current AnnualPractising Certificate Excellent communicationskills, interpersonal skills and ability to build effective relationshipswith a strong patient focus. Ability to work underpressure Excellent timemanagement and attention to detail Work collaboratively ina multidisciplinary team.
