Job Description

Help develop, implement, support, and review all human resources department initiatives, policies, procedures, and systems, which could involve continued involvement in and refinement of the recruitment process, including generating job descriptions, posting advertisements, and managing the hiring process. Cultivate training and development programs and compensation and benefits programs. Participate in performance evaluation processes. Composure and confidentiality are required to handle disciplinary and grievance issues. Administrative duties include the upkeep of employee records (attendance, EEO data, etc.). Ensure compliance with all policies and legal requirements, including the monitoring of working conditions to ensure legal compliance. Job Description HR Advisor - King Street (Kraft Heinz) About The Team Our HR team supports leaders and employees across the King Street site, helping create a safe, respectful, high-performing workplace. We partner closely with our Senior HR Business Partner (Hawke’s Bay), Payroll, and our Global Business Services (GBS) team to deliver a great employee experience and strong HR foundations. The opportunity Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, the HR Advisor provides practical, best-practice support across day-to-day HR processes and people initiatives at the King Street site. You’ll be a trusted first point of contact for employees and managers, coaching leaders through people matters, supporting consistent use of policies and procedures, and helping drive engagement across the site. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will: Be the first point of contact for day-to-day HR enquiries, providing timely, practical advice Coach and support managers and employees to apply HR policies and procedures fairly and consistently Support people processes as needed (performance management, sickness absence, disciplinary matters, and grievances) Deliver site HR inductions for new employees and support a smooth start Partner with Payroll to help ensure Kronos work codes and schedules are accurate, and support leave/payroll queries (escalating to the HRBP, GBS, or a HR Centre of Excellence when needed) Work with Global Business Services (GBS) to manage employee lifecycle administration, including new hire set-up and contract/letter requests (including contract drafting and management) Support benefits administration and help resolve HR/Payroll/GBS issues quickly and sensitively Uphold Kraft Heinz values and contribute to the site and company vision Note: Responsibilities may change over time in line with business needs.
