In this hands-on role, you’ll help prepare and produce high-quality menu items under the guidance of our Head Chef. You’ll play a key part in creating memorable dining experiences that reflect our values and commitment to manaakitanga. Support meal preparation and cooking during service periods Maintain food safety and hygiene standards Assist with ingredient prep, dish assembly, and kitchen cleanliness Provide friendly customer service and support front-of-house when needed Promote sustainability and uphold the Tiaki Promise Participate in cultural development and embrace Ngāi Tahu values Minimum one year experience in a professional kitchen NZ Certificate in Cookery (Level 3 or higher) – desirable Food Safety Certificate – desirable Strong teamwork and communication skills Commitment to manaakitanga and cultural learning Physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Why Join Us?
