We’re seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer, Guidewire to contribute to the design, development, and continuous improvement of automated testing solutions across our Guidewire platform. You will play a key role in driving quality engineering practices, supporting delivery teams, and ensuring high-quality outcomes across complex insurance applications. This is a permanent full-time role based in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland) and Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington). Ngā Mahi Hei Whakatutuki Māu | What You'll Do Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for Guidewire applications. Deliver end-to-end testing across PolicyCenter, integrations, and APIs. Embed automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and champion quality engineering best practices. Collaborate closely with business, development, and delivery teams to ensure quality outcomes. Mentor team members and drive continuous improvement across testing practices. Ōu Pūkenga me ōu Wheako | What You'll Bring Strong experience in test automation using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Karate, or similar. Experience testing Guidewire applications and integrations within complex enterprise environments. Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or similar languages. Strong API and integration testing experience using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or Karate. Experience with CI/CD tools, including GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and source control best practices. Familiarity with Jira, Xray, and Confluence. Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and leadership skills. Experience with Agile delivery, shift-left testing, risk-based testing, and AI-assisted testing practices.
