Deputy Principal, Curriculum and Pedagogy The successful applicant will be an exceptional educationalleader who can lead the implementation of the new curriculum, drive theschool's pedagogical vision, and work strategically with leaders and staff toimprove learner achievement, engagement, and wellbeing. You will require a strong understanding of effectiveteaching and learning, experience leading curriculum development and change,and the ability to use evidence-informed practice to improve student outcomes.A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi is essential, along with a proven abilityto lead innovation, build professional capability, and contribute positively asa member of a high-performing Senior Leadership Team. As we are currently reviewing responsibilities across theleadership team, there is flexibility in the final allocation of portfolios.Accordingly, this role focuses on the capability of the leader: someone who canprovide strategic leadership in curriculum and pedagogy, work collaborativelywith HOLAs and middle leaders, and foster a culture of continuous improvementthrough strong relationships and effective collaboration.
