What your day will look like About the Role We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Automation QA Engineer to join our QA team and support testing across Web UI, API and Mobile platforms. You will work with modern frameworks such as Playwright and Detox using TypeScript, contributing to both test automation and release manual testing efforts. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with solid programming fundamentals, a passion for quality, and the flexibility to contribute across both automated and manual testing workflows. Key responsibilities: Develop and maintain reliable, scalable automation scripts for: Web UI E2E automation (using Playwright) API automation for service-based endpoints (REST) Mobile UI E2E automation on iOS/Android (using Detox) Load/Performance testing based on product requirements (using k6) Work closely with developers and product teams to understand features and define test coverage. Execute manual testing during release cycles to ensure regression stability and business readiness. Participate in test case design, review, and maintenance (manual & automated). Contribute to test planning, defect triaging, and quality reporting. Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and ensure consistent execution. Support test data preparation and environment validation. Troubleshoot and analyse automation failures, identifying root causes and suggesting improvements. What you need to fulfill the role Required Skills & Experience Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of hands-on experience in automation testing across Web, API, and Mobile platforms. Solid manual testing skills, especially for exploratory and E2E regression testing. Strong coding skills in TypeScript or JavaScript; experience with modern automation frameworks: e.g.: Playwright, Selenium, Detox, BDD (e.g., Cucumber) Good understanding of REST API testing strategies. Hand-on experience with CI/CD tools, especially Azure DevOps. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, across both technical and business domains. Preferred Qualifications ISTQB Certification (Foundation level or above) Experience with mobile testing on real devices or cloud platform (e.g., LambdaTest) Familiar with performance testing tools (e.g., k6, JMeter) What We Offer Competitive compensation and performance-based growth path.
