Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Sawmill Cleaner to assist with our Sawmill Operations. The key purpose of this role is to remove sawdust/particles from the Sawmill equipment and machine centres. The role is Monday to Friday, 4:30pm until 1:00am with some flexibility regarding the start and finish time. The hourly rate is from $24 - $27 per hour, depending on skills and experience. The role has a direct impact on our production levels and quality and therefore plays an important part in the overall success of the mill. ROLE REQUIREMENTS: Previous experience isn’t necessary as you’ll receive full training. However, experience in a production environment with machinery would be advantageous. You’ll need to be physically fit, self-motivated, able to follow procedures, work autonomously and reliable. You will also have a strong focus on ensuring health and safety standards are adhered to at all times. Sound comprehension skills will also be required.
