Ngā kōrero mo tēnei tūranga / About the role Join PwC as a Senior Workforce Planning Advisor on a 12-month fixed-term contract in Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland. You'll play a key role in ensuring Advisory engagements are effectively resourced by connecting projects with the right talent and workforce solutions, including offshore resources, contractors, and secondments. Working closely with Advisory Partners, Engagement Managers, Resourcing Champions, and the wider Workforce Solutions team, you'll provide strategic resourcing support, monitor utilisation, and deliver insights into capacity, demand trends, and workforce planning opportunities. This role offers regular engagement with senior stakeholders, requiring you to balance competing priorities, anticipate future resourcing needs, and support the optimal deployment of talent across the business. You'll also contribute to the development and implementation of processes that improve the management of contractors and offshore resources. Your day-to-day could include: Partnering with Engagement Managers and Partners to understand current and future resourcing requirements. Coordinating the allocation of people across Advisory engagements and responding to resource requests from the business. Providing reporting and insights on utilisation, resourcing trends, and opportunities to improve operational effectiveness. Championing the use of resourcing systems and supporting the rollout of PwC's skills-based resourcing platform. Supporting the design and implementation of contractor and offshore workforce processes. Building a strong understanding of Advisory's people, capabilities, clients, and service offerings to inform resourcing decisions. Promoting the accuracy and use of skills data to ensure the right people are matched to the right opportunities. Ngā pūkenga ka kawea mai e koe, ka whakawhanakehia rānei i tēnei tūranga / Skills you will bring or develop in this role 2-4 years' experience in a resourcing, workforce planning, talent acquisition, or similar operational role, ideally within a large or complex organisation. Strong analytical skills, with experience producing reports and working with data and complex systems. Excellent relationship-building, communication, and stakeholder management skills. High attention to detail and the ability to manage confidential information with discretion. Proficiency across the Microsoft suite, particularly Excel and reporting tools. An interest in emerging technologies, including AI and automation, and how they can enhance productivity and resourcing outcomes.
