About this role | Māŋ šānŋ tūŚā Permanent, full-time Based in either Rotorua or Tauranga, Bay of Plenty Do you have a passion for working with data and an interest in growing your data extraction, reporting and analysis skills? The Network Analyst role supports the work of the Ministry of Education's regional teams by analysing and interpreting data, network trends and achievement information to inform and support internal and external work programmes. The Network Analyst provides information, guidance and analytical support to relevant internal staff to support their work with the education sector including responding to requests for information and preparing written communications, working papers, reports and presentations. This is a permanent, full-time position that can be based at either our Rotorua or Tauranga office, offering a fantastic lifestyle and work-life balance opportunity in one of New Zealand's stunning and diverse outdoor regions. About our group and team | Mātā rōpuā ake The Operations and Insights team is part of Te Mahau | Education Services, a frontline group that collectively provides leadership and integrated services, working with education providers, children and their whānau/families across the Bay of Plenty-Waiariki region. This includes services such as learning support, education advice and regulation functions for schools, kura, ŋkaŋ and early learning services, and advice and support with curriculum. We develop and harness relationships with communities at the regional and local level, including deep relationships with iwi and hapū. We also collectively strengthen relationships with our diverse communities who support Māori, Pacific peoples, disabled ākonga and/or ākonga with learning support needs, and ākonga from disadvantaged backgrounds. From within Te Mahau, you will work closely and collaboratively across different groups within the Ministry of Education, including infrastructure management and property delivery teams.
