You'll provide financial insights that support operational performance, investment decisions, compliance requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives across the business. Key Responsibilities Maintain and manage the Fixed Asset Register across multiple locations Lead asset reconciliations and ensure accurate asset accounting records Support capital expenditure planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes Analyse asset utilisation, expenditure trends, and operating costs to provide valuable business insights Prepare monthly financial reports, reconciliations, and management reporting Partner with operational and engineering teams to support decision-making and investment planning Assist with internal and external audit requirements Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and internal controls Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and asset management practices Contribute to wider finance projects and continuous improvement initiatives About You You'll be a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working across the business and translating financial information into meaningful insights. You’ll bring: A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline CA ANZ, NZICA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification Minimum five years' accounting or finance experience, ideally within a large or multi-site organisation Strong knowledge of fixed asset accounting, capital expenditure management, and IFRS reporting requirements Advanced Excel skills and experience working with financial systems Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills The ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders across all levels of the business A proactive approach with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities About Qube Ports NZ Qube Ports NZ is a leading provider of integrated logistics solutions, delivering nationwide services across cargo logistics, stevedoring, marshalling, transportation, warehousing, and technology solutions.
