Job Description Job title: Health, Safety and Wellbeing Administrator Role type: Fixed term role until 18 December 2026 Location: Wellington City Salary band & range: $61,965 to $71,810 per annum depending on skills and experience About the Role - Kōrero mō te Tūranga We are looking for our administrator extraordinaire to join our small team for a fixed term position for five months to help us deliver several timebound projects. These projects include planning and management of the 2026 Driving Conference and the Driving Working Group, along with GHSL H&S Resource Hub enrolment activity and promotion and registration of the Safe Gov App. You will be the team's first point of contact for administrative enquiries related to GHSL initiatives. Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to the GHSL team across multiple concurrent projects. Coordinate meetings, workshops and workgroup sessions, including scheduling, agendas, papers, attendance tracking and minute‑taking. Ability to build effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. Assist with planning and management of the 2026 Driving Conference, including timelines, stakeholder lists and logistics tracking. Provide coordination support to the Driving Working Group, including stakeholder communications and documentation management. Support enrolment processes for the GHSL H&S Resource Hub, including tracking agency participation and maintaining records. Assist with administrative aspects of the Safe-Gov App promotion and registration process, including data management and responding to basic enquiries. Be a team player, a great communicator and enjoy a strong supportive environment. Be able to follow instructions and problem solve. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities. Confidence using Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams). Ability to build effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
