Got your forklift ticket and ready to put it to work? CARTERS Panmure is looking for a hands-on Yardperson to join our branch team. This is a fast-paced, physical role at the heart of branch operations - picking, loading, and moving products safely and efficiently while delivering great service to our trade customers every day. You can expect to: Operate a forklift to load and unload products, ensuring stock is put away in a timely manner Fulfilling customer orders accurately and preparing despatch and transfer documentation Participate in cycle counts and stock checks, reporting any discrepancies promptly Responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly yard and store area Identify and report health and safety hazards, ensuring customers and visitors safety Support the wider branch team to meet and exceed KPIs and branch targets What you will bring Valid FULL New Zealand Driver's Licence Competency in operating a Forklift with F Endorsed Licence and OSH Certificate A real people person with a natural talent for building trust and rapport with our customers Proficient in navigating computer systems Proven awareness of health and safety legislation in this industry Physically fit for the occasional heavy lifting and manual handling Building industry knowledge is advantageous Advantages of Advancing Your Career with CARTERS In return, we'll make sure you're looked after in a professional, positive, inclusive and supportive working environment that you can be proud of.
