Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role As Organisational Transformation Lead, you will lead and support practical, people-centred change and organisational development initiatives across MetService. You will work closely with senior leaders, people leaders, project teams, the People and Change Team, employees, and Earth Sciences New Zealand counterparts to help ensure change is well planned, clearly communicated, adopted, measured, and embedded. You will help strengthen leadership capability, improve employee experience, support equity, diversity and inclusion, and develop practical tools, frameworks, and approaches that enable leaders and teams to navigate change with confidence. This is an 18 month full-time fixed-term opportunity. In This Role You Will Lead and support priority change and organisational development initiatives from planning through to embedding Provide trusted advice to senior leaders, and others leading change Maintaining and improving our Enterprise Change Framework so it is practical, scalable and easy to use Co-design tools, templates, guidelines, learning resources and communication approaches that support successful change Building capability through coaching, mentoring, facilitation, communities of practice and hands-on support Using data, feedback, insights and lessons learned to measure impact and improve future delivery What You Will Bring Signficant experience leading organisational change, transformation and organisational development initiatives across complex environments Demonstrated expertise in change management, organisational development, leadership development, capability building, employee engagement and culture initiatives Experience designing and implementing practical change frameworks, tools, resources and approaches that support successful adoption and sustainable outcomes Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and provide advice at all levels of the organisation Experience coaching, facilitating and building capability in leaders, teams and practitioners through change and development activities Strong problem-solving, analytical, and evaluation skills, with the ability to use data, insights and feedback to measure impact and drive continuous improvements He Kōrero Mōu – About You You are a collaborative and inclusive change professional who can work confidently through complexity and ambiguity. You build strong relationships, communicate clearly with different audiences, and bring a practical, people-focused approach to transformation and organisational development. You will bring experience in change management and organisational development, including leadership, capability, engagement, inclusion, learning, and employee experience initiatives. You will also have a relevant qualification or equivalent experience in change management, organisational development, organisational psychology, human resources, leadership, or a related discipline. Knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and te ao Māori will be important, along with the ability to support Māori engagement, build te ao Māori capability, and help embed inclusive approaches into ways of working. As part of this, we will be bringing together the significant capabilities and resources of MetService and Earth Sciences to provide the best weather, climate and associated impacts forecasting system for New Zealand now and into the future. To achieve this Earth Sciences will acquire MetService as a wholly owned subsidiary, with MetService retaining its role as New Zealand's authorised meteorological voice.
