You'll play an important role in helping customers navigate their electricity connection journey with Powerco. You'll work with a diverse range of customers and industry partners, helping them understand what's needed, resolving issues and keeping their work moving. About the role As a Customer Electricity Connections Specialist, you'll be one of the people helping make it easier for customers to do business with Powerco. You'll support customers through their electricity connection journey, responding to enquiries, progressing applications and working with customers and industry partners to keep things moving. Communication takes place across a range of channels including phone, email and online enquiries. Investigating issues, ask questions, connect the dots and use your judgement to work out the best way forward. You'll often need to balance different priorities and perspectives, while keeping the customer experience at the centre of what you do. You'll also build your knowledge of our business, systems and processes, and work collaboratively with teams across Powerco to get the right outcomes for our customers. This is a role where quality matters - we're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and follows through. There'll be the opportunity to contribute ideas; identify ways we can improve and play an active role in the success of the wider team. To be a success in this role, you will need: Experience in a customer-focused role and a genuine commitment to delivering a great customer experience. Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with confidence working with a diverse range of people. A curious and resourceful approach, with the ability to ask questions, find information and solve problems. The ability to manage competing priorities, take ownership and make sound decisions. The ability to quickly learn new systems, processes and technical information, and adapt when things change. A positive, collaborative mindset and a commitment to continuously improving how we work. You don't need to have experience in the electricity industry to be successful in this role. What's most important is your customer focus, communication skills, curiosity, problem-solving ability and willingness to learn. We'll help you build the industry knowledge you need.
