What you will be doing | Ngā whāinga matua As our Category & Growth Analyst, you will play a key role in developing and embedding a modern, insight-led Category & Growth capability across the organisation. Working closely with the Category & Growth Manager and stakeholders across Commercial, Investment, Finance and Science teams, you'll provide the analysis and intelligence that informs strategic decision-making and future growth. You will: Develop and maintain category performance, profit pool and market intelligence reporting frameworks. Analyse markets, industry trends, customer dynamics and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities and commercial risks. Conduct commercial modelling, forecasting, scenario analysis and business case development to support investment and commercial decisions. Produce insightful dashboards, reports and presentations that translate complex data into clear recommendations. Partner with stakeholders across the organisation to support growth planning, commercialisation activities and portfolio performance reviews. Contribute to the continuous improvement of analytical tools, reporting processes and commercial insight capability. To be successful in this role, you will have: A tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Economics, Commerce, Strategy, Data Analytics or a related discipline. Significant experience (5+ years) in commercial analysis, strategy, corporate finance, consulting, investment analysis, category management, commercialisation or a similar analytical field. Advanced financial modelling, forecasting and commercial analysis skills, with experience developing business cases and evaluating growth opportunities. Strong market research and analytical capabilities, with the ability to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
