About The Role We are seeking an enthusiastic and hands-on Service Deli Manager to join our team at New World Stonefields. This role is not for someone who prefers to manage from a distance. We are looking for a leader who is ready to engage directly with their team, lead by example, and infuse the department with positive energy. Our Deli is a vibrant and fast-paced part of our store, playing a significant role in the overall customer experience. In this position, you will take full ownership of the daily operations of the department, collaborating closely with your team to provide great food and exemplary service, ensuring a department that everyone can take pride in. What You Will Be Doing Leading, supporting, and motivating the Deli team Ensuring smooth daily operations of the department Creating delicious food and maintaining attractive displays Upholding high standards for quality, presentation, and customer service Managing stock, ordering, production, and inventory Scheduling your team to meet the department's needs Maintaining excellent Food Safety and Health & Safety standards Fostering a positive team culture where everyone contributes Utilizing our in-store systems, including SAP, for stock management and reporting Requirements Have leadership experience in fresh foods, deli, hospitality, or a similar environment Enjoy leading people and being an active part of the team Bring energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude to the workplace Are organized and able to keep operations moving smoothly in a busy environment Possess strong food knowledge and understand the importance of quality and presentation Are confident in coaching, developing, and supporting others Are customer-focused and passionate about delivering excellent experiences Are reliable, adaptable, and willing to step in as needed Have experience with SAP and a solid understanding of Food Safety regulations Benefits Joining New World Stonefields means becoming part of a supportive team where you can make the department your own, develop your leadership skills, and have a meaningful impact on both your team and our customers.
