The opportunity to work in an iconic NZ company A work environment that is fast paced and customer focused Full time role About the role The Outbound Picker role is essential in ensuring accurate and efficient outbound order fulfilment, supporting the flow of goods from pick through to dispatch. You will play a key part in picking, scanning, and preparing stock for stores, maintaining inventory integrity, and contributing to a safe and productive Distribution Centre environment. The role is based at the Briscoe Group Distribution Centre in Drury. This is a fixed-term position ending end of January 2027. We're looking for someone who is available full-time, Monday to Friday. We have two shift options available: 5:00am to 1:30pm or 12:30pm to 9:00pm. Your key responsibilities will include Picking stock accurately using RF scanning devices, ensuring correct SKU, quantity, and condition Supporting automated pick and pack processes as required Building and wrapping pallets to meet store and safety requirements Labelling, staging, and preparing orders for dispatch Operating MHE (electric pallet jack) safely and maintaining current certification Reporting shorts, overs, or discrepancies to Team Leaders Supporting stock integrity through correct scanning and placement Assisting with other outbound tasks as required, including decant or goods to person processing Maintaining clean, safe, and well organised work areas Following all health and safety procedures and reporting hazards, near misses, or incidents Contributing to daily team briefings and communication updates Skills and experience You will have: Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical capability for manual handling Reliability, organisation, and a positive attitude Preferred experience: Previous warehouse or retail experience involving stock handling Experience using RF scanners or working in a WMS environment Familiarity with outbound fulfilment processes Applicants who are already licensed and trained to operate ride on powered pallet movers are preferred. However, we also welcome applications from individuals who may not currently hold MHE certification or no prior experience operating electric pallet jacks. Certification and training will be provided for the right candidate.
