Day Shift Electrician - Kawerau

Join a business that strives for quality and best practice in safeworking conditions Position in a heavy industrial manufacturing plant CarterHolt Harvey is seeking a self-motivated, quality focused individual who isaqualified electrician and may either have control systems or heavyindustrial manufacturing experience.This role is based at our KawerauMill where you will be reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, with hours beinga 4x10 hour day and one weekend worked per month. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide technicalexpertise for continuous improvement processes. Provide breakdownresponse to mills (prioritising as directed). Carrying out shutwork on shut days. Follow up workfrom previous shift, supporting breakdowns, follow ups, etc. Occasional shiftcover to cover absenteeism (dayshift and nightshift). Ensure qualityassurance of external vendors. Opencommunication with the team by wearing radio/shift phone to provide backup if needed. Follow health andsafety requirements across site. THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL: Preferably havecontrol systems experience with control logics PLCs and fault finding on manufacturing plants, automated safety systems. Have the abilityto deliver results on time to meet customer expectations. Have a health andsafety, environmental and quality focus. Ability withreading and interpreting drawings. Expert level ofequipment problem solving skills. Analyticaltrouble shooting ability. The ability towork within time restraints.
