We are looking for a confident and experienced Coolstore Forklift Operator with strong knowledge of Fresh-cool and Fresh-mobile systems and experience across all aspects of coolstore operations, including loadouts, CCP6 and CCP5a processes to Zespri standards, and safely operating forklifts in three-high racking systems. This role is initially offered as a fixed-term position through to December, with the potential for ongoing employment from February next year for the right candidate. About the Role As a forklift operator, you'll play an important role in keeping our coolstore operations running safely and efficiently by moving and managing kiwifruit pallets. Safely operate forklifts in a busy coolstore environment, including three-high racking systems. Load, unload, stack, transfer, and manage kiwifruit pallets. Support coolstore loadouts and day-to-day operations. Work confidently with Fresh-cool and Fresh-mobile systems. Follow CCP6 and CCP5a requirements and maintain Zespri standards. Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards. Follow all health and safety, food safety, and operational procedures. What You'll need Experience operating forklifts in three-high racking systems. Experience with coolstore operations, including loadouts. Confident using Fresh-cool and Fresh-mobile system. Knowledge of CCP6 and CCP5a requirements and Zespri standards. Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to working safely. Ability to work well as part of a small team.
