Before every successful installation, we need the right plan in place. That’s where our Pre-Install Survey Technicians come in. What does a day look like? You’ll spend your day visiting customer properties and assessing whether they’re ready for a smooth fibre installation. Carrying out pre-installation surveys for upcoming customer orders Rodding and roping underground duct routes to ensure they’re clear and usable Assessing overhead routes and span lengths to confirm safe and suitable installation paths Identifying the best fibre route into the property Agreeing equipment locations and entry points with customers Capturing photos, route details and survey notes using mobile technology Highlighting any blockages, civils requirements, access issues or safety concerns Working closely with our Planning, Civils and Installation teams to ensure survey outcomes are actioned correctly Providing a friendly, professional experience for every customer you visit What we’re looking for.
