Registered Early Childhood Teacher - East Auckland Full time, Permanent Cozy Corner Educare is a privately owned early childhood centre in Panmure, Auckland. We pride ourselves on providing higher-quality education and care for tamariki. Our centre is licensed for 55 children and operates across three rooms: infants, toddlers and preschool. We are seeking a registered teacher to join our team. The working hours will be minuimum 30 hours and up to 40 hours per week , and the successful applicant must be available Monday to Friday . Applicants must have at least one year of ECE work experience in New Zealand . Key responsibilities include: Plan and implement play-based and structured learning experiences across indoor, outdoor and excursions. Provide age-appropriate provocations and experiences that support children’s physical, social, emotional, language and cognitive development, confidence and independence. Support language and communication through storytelling, role play, songs,group activities and conversations. Observe, assess and document children’s learning, behaviour and development, identifying areas where additional support may be required. Monitor children’s health, wellbeing, nutrition and safety, including signs of illness or developmental and emotional concerns. Maintain a safe, positive, inclusive and nurturing learning environment that responds to individual needs. Communicate regularly with parents and whānau about children’s learning, development, wellbeing and support needs. Participate in parent-teacher interviews, staff and planning meetings, professional development and centre events. Work collaboratively with colleagues, families and other professionals to support positive outcomes for children. Support student teachers during practical placements and participate in relevant community programmes. Follow centre policies and procedures and all applicable ECE, health, safety and child-protection requirements. #J-18808-Ljbffr
