As our Network Capability Lead - Mail, you'll lead the design of future-state network solutions, operating models and capability roadmaps that support the long-term sustainability of New Zealand's mail network. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, logistics, operations and transformation, providing a unique opportunity to influence how one of New Zealand's most extensive national networks evolves in the years ahead. Why this role? This Is An Opportunity To Influence the future direction of a nationally significant network. Lead strategic transformation initiatives that create meaningful business impact. Shape network investment, automation and operational capability decisions. Partner with senior leaders across Operations, Commercial, Finance and Technology. Lead a small team while driving enterprise-wide outcomes. Help ensure New Zealanders continue to have access to sustainable and effective mail services into the future. Mōu - About You You'll be a credible operational leader with experience in logistics, supply chain, transport, postal, distribution, consulting or another complex network-based environment. You'll Bring Strong network design, operational strategy or transformation experience. Expertise in network optimisation and operating model development. Experience developing long-term capability roadmaps and strategic plans. Strong commercial acumen and the ability to balance customer outcomes, operational performance and business sustainability. Proven success influencing senior stakeholders and delivering complex change initiatives. A strategic mindset supported by data-driven decision making, analytical thinking and scenario modelling capability. The ability to move seamlessly between strategy development and practical execution. We're looking for a leader whose strategic thinking is grounded in real operational experience and who can translate long-term direction into practical, sustainable outcomes for customers, communities and the business.
