Apprenticeships - Mechanical or Electrical Practical and mechanically minded,you’ll have an opportunity to master a well sort after trade by learning on thejob with our highly qualified and experienced engineering team at our Kawerausawmill operation, as well as working towards and achieving your TradeQualification. This is a three-year program andthe highly motivated and successful candidate will learn a wide variety ofskills and knowledge across general engineering. We are looking for applicants that can demonstrate: Mathematical and mechanical aptitude NCEA—Level 2 (Year 12) Maths, Physics, Science or equivalent anadvantage Good communication skills & ability to work as part of a team The desire & commitment to work hard to succeed The apprenticeship training program is actively managed incombination with Carter Holt Harvey and Competenz, an external trainingprovider. The study side of the apprenticeship can be demanding of our time,however extremely rewarding. This is something you’ll need to give seriousconsideration before applying.
