Reporting to the Portfolio Manager, you'll play an important role in monitoring portfolio performance, supporting portfolio initiatives, and providing insights to inform business decisions. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you'll help identify trends, opportunities, and key drivers of portfolio outcomes, contributing to the delivery of strategic and operational objectives. We're looking for someone with a curious mindset, a commercial approach, and a passion for turning information and data into meaningful insights. You'll be highly organised, outcomes focused, and demonstrate a high level of accountability, attention to detail, and professionalism. What You’ll Be Doing Supporting portfolio objectives through analysis, reporting, and monitoring of portfolio performance. Identifying trends, risks, and opportunities and providing insights to support business decision‑making. Assisting in the development of portfolio recommendations through data‑driven analysis involving extraction, transformation, and visualisation of data Producing regular portfolio reporting and contributing to forecasting and planning activities. Working with internal stakeholders to support the delivery of portfolio initiatives, enterprise strategy, and business change. Conducting ad‑hoc analysis to investigate portfolio performance and customer outcomes. To shine in the role, we’re looking for someone with: A tertiary qualification in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Actuarial, or similar. Experience in an analyst role within insurance, financial services, or a similar commercial environment. The ability to interpret data and identify trends, risks, and opportunities that support business decision‑making. Experience using analytical tools such as SQL, R, Python, Power BI, Tableau, or similar. Excellent relationship‑building and stakeholder management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present insights and recommendations. A proactive approach, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and develop. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and solutions‑focused mindset.
