Job Description
Our client is a well-established civil contractor with a track record of delivering some of New Zealand’s complex water infrastructure projects. About the role: They are seeking a Senior Estimator with proven experience winning work across the water infrastructure space, ideally having exposure to civil structures, pipeline construction (HDPE, PVC etc), micro tunnelling etc. The ideal candidate will have circa 10+ years’ experience, pricing and bidding on a variety of civil infrastructure projects, with the ability to manage and lead a team of Estimators. They will be detail-focused, commercially astute, and skilled at building strong relationships with stakeholders, subcontractors and suppliers. What’s in it for you? Source and assess subcontractor and supplier quotes. Ensure precise costing and quantities through detailed analysis. Produce accurate, competitive bids with clear, concise documentation. Prepare professional tender submissions with innovative, value-added solutions. Comply with Tender and Contract Review procedures and complete documentation on time. Finalise tenders early to allow thorough internal review. Provide post-tender analysis on factors driving outcomes. What we’re looking for: Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying (or another relevant discipline) Circa 10-15 years’ experience as an Estimator (or other relevant role) ideally within the three waters space Strong attention to detail and proven relationship-building skills Local experience and NZ work rights are essential #J-18808-Ljbffr
