We are looking for a qualified ECE or primary trained teacher to join our team. Ideally, we are looking for someone full-time, although we are happy to discuss options with the right person. We are looking for someone who: Holds a recognised ECE or primary teaching qualification Is NZ registered and holds a current practising certificate, or is eligible to obtain one Is warm, caring and genuinely passionate about working with tamariki Builds strong, respectful relationships with children, whānau and colleagues Has a good understanding of Te Whāriki and is confident contributing to meaningful learning and assessment Values teamwork, communication and a positive centre culture Is reliable, flexible and willing to contribute to all aspects of centre life Is committed to ongoing professional learning and growth Little Thinkers offers full pay parity, reflecting the value we place on quality education, teacher wellbeing and professional growth. Our centre operates between 7.30am and 5.30pm, with full‑time teachers working rostered shifts within these hours. Unfortunately, we are unable to support or sponsor visa applications.
