About the role

We are looking to bring on a motivated and hands-on Geotechnical Engineer/Engineering Geologist with 2+ years of experience to join our talented team in Hamilton. A good communicator, you will be enthusiastic and wanting to hit the ground running.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake site investigations, field testing, data collection and analysis, and prepare design inputs and technical reports.
  • Assist with project delivery under the guidance of senior professionals, contributing to practical solutions that achieve project objectives and positive client outcomes.
  • Build your technical capability through mentoring, project exposure, and collaboration with experienced engineers and geologists across the business.


What You'll Need

  • A Civil Engineering, Geology or Earth Sciences Degree
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as part of a consultancy
  • Exceptional organisation and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Field-related experience in site investigations and construction observations
  • Experience in land development preferred
  • Previous exposure to proposal preparation and technical report writing
  • A full New Zealand driver license
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Full New Zealand working rights
