About Us
MBA Brands is a vibrant, fast-growing sales, marketing and distribution company specialising in health, wellness and beauty.
With nearly 40 years of experience, we represent trusted global brands across pharmacy, grocery and retail channels in New Zealand and Australia. We combine local insight with smart, tailored strategies to grow brands and make a real impact both on shelves and online.
At MBA Brands, you'll join a passionate, close-knit team that backs each other, loves a good laugh and is driven to grow brands that matter.
About the Role
Working closely with the Beauty Senior Brand Manager, Digital eCommerce Manager and wider sales team, you'll support the development and execution of brand strategies across the Australian and New Zealand markets.
You'll help develop annual marketing plans and deliver brand and product communications across multiple channels, including digital, social, advertising and in-store activity.
A key part of the role will also be working alongside the sales team and building strong relationships with key customer buyers. You'll support customer presentations, meetings and trade activation plans to strengthen brand presence and successfully launch both existing products and new product development.
You'll use sales, market and competitor information to understand how brands are performing, identify opportunities and provide insights that help shape future activity. You'll also support post-campaign reporting, helping to turn results into practical recommendations for future campaigns.
Alongside this, you'll work closely with the Digital eCommerce Manager to optimise digital activity, maintain brand content across eCommerce channels, and manage and track marketing and paid media budgets to ensure activity remains accurate, efficient and aligned with brand plans.
It's a varied, hands-on role where you'll be moving between creative campaigns, customers, sales data, digital activity and commercial priorities.
What We're Looking For
- 1-2 years' experience in a marketing or brand management support role, ideally as a Marketing Coordinator or Assistant Brand Manager
- A tertiary qualification in marketing, business or communications is preferred
- A creative mindset and the confidence to contribute fresh marketing ideas
- Good knowledge of digital marketing, social media, eCommerce and paid advertising
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales and market information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the confidence to present and build relationships with customers and stakeholders
- Experience preparing clear briefs, presentations and other marketing documentation
- Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- A collaborative, solutions-focused approach and the ability to work effectively across different teams
- A self-starter who can juggle multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment
