We are seeking experienced and professional Registered Nurses to join our HealthScreen team, supporting the medical underwriting process for new AIA insurance applications. This is a contractor role, with work offered on an as-required basis depending on business volumes and client demand.

About the Role\n

As a HealthScreen Nurse, you will meet clients in person to conduct medical assessments required for new insurance applications. You will be responsible for gathering health and lifestyle information, obtaining medical measurements, and collecting blood samples to assist in the underwriting process.

Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct in-person health screenings for clients applying for AIA insurance products.
  • \n
  • Collect and record accurate medical and lifestyle information.
  • \n
  • Perform phlebotomy (blood collection) and other health assessment requirements in accordance with company protocols.
  • \n
  • Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and submitted within required timeframes.
  • \n
  • Provide a professional, empathetic, and customer-focused experience.
  • \n
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with all privacy and regulatory requirements.
  • \n
Essential Requirements\n
    \n
  • Registered Nurse with a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
  • \n
  • Demonstrated phlebotomy experience and competency.
  • \n
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • \n
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping abilities.
  • \n
  • Computer literacy.
  • \n
  • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible workload.
  • \n
  • Current full New Zealand driver’s licence.
  • \n
  • Reliable vehicle and willingness to travel to client locations.
  • \n
  • Eligibility to work in New Zealand.
  • \n
