About The Opportunity Our client is a large, established international FMCG business with a strong portfolio of well-known consumer brands and operations across multiple global markets. With an ambitious growth agenda and an increasing focus on commercial insight and data-led decision-making, the business is looking for an experienced Commercial Analyst to join its New Zealand team. This is a high-impact Commercial Finance role partnering closely with senior Sales stakeholders across the Retail and On-Premise channels. Sitting at the intersection of Finance and Sales, you’ll go beyond reporting the numbers, providing insight, challenging thinking and helping shape commercial decisions that drive performance It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys combining hands-on finance, commercial analysis and business partnering, while also looking for ways to improve processes and lift capability. What You’ll Be Doing Partner with Sales leaders across Retail and On-Premise to provide clear, actionable commercial insights Own forecasting, budgeting, S&OP inputs and regular performance reporting Analyse promotional spend, pricing, volume, margin and ROI to support better commercial decisions Translate financial and operational data into meaningful recommendations for the wider business Support customer reviews and contribute to commercial and business planning Identify opportunities to improve reporting, systems, processes and ways of working Provide financial challenge and support to help drive profitable growth What You’ll Bring CA / CPA qualification Experience within FMCG, retail, consumer goods or the beverage industry is highly desirable.
